Latest Updates on Re-Opening

“Minkoff the new contractor had projected a completion date of 10/24. I stopped by on 9/19 and saw what looked like the sprinkler installation in progress. Are we still on-track for an October 24th completion date?”

Good morning John, I wanted to give you a clear update. The final decision from the fire protection consultant and insurance was that no sprinkler system is required for your section of the building. Minkoff has set a completion date of 10/24, but to be honest, I’m not fully confident they’ll be able to meet that deadline based on current progress. I plan to reach out to them this week to get a firm confirmation and will update you as soon as I hear back. I appreciate your patience, and I know your members are eager to return — I’m staying on top of it.

Pictures below were taken today October 3, 2026 and show that since the last pictures on September 19  their does seem to be significant progress from those previous photos. The ceiling has been insulated and it looks like new lighting has been installed.
